Intimate Bristol Wedding at Beeses | Bristol Wedding Photographer
Not fussed about a huge guest list or traditional wedding formalities? Ria & Rich created the perfect small, intimate wedding in Bristol—while still celebrating with all their favourite people.
As a Bristol wedding photographer, I’m lucky to capture a wide range of weddings across the city, but this one truly stood out for its relaxed atmosphere and personal touches. Their day was romantic, meaningful, and completely centred around what mattered most to them.
Ria and Rich booked my 8-hour Bristol wedding photography package, with coverage from their ceremony through to their evening ceilidh. They exchanged vows in the Grand Council Chamber, one of the biggest ceremony spaces in Bristol.
After the ceremony, guests gathered outside for a celebratory confetti moment. These are my favourite parts to photograph as a wedding photographer in Bristol. We then captured some group photos before the entire wedding party made their way down to the harbour to catch the boat and cruise along the River Avon towards to Conham River Park to Beeses.
The sun was shinning, drinks were flowing, and the couple were embracing their wedding reception which was was full of chill vibes. Guests enjoyed delicious food followed by heartfelt speeches that had everyone smiling (and a few tears too).
As golden hour approached, I took Ria and Rich for a short walk to the nearby nature reserve for their couple portraits. This is always one of my favourite parts of the day as a Bristol wedding photographer—those quiet moments away from the crowd, capturing natural, relaxed images in gorgeous sunsets.
The evening finished with a lively ceilidh, bringing everyone together on the dance floor.
It was such an honour to capture this incredible day. If you’re planning your own celebration and are looking for a Bristol wedding photographer who focuses on natural, relaxed storytelling, I’d love to hear from you.
