The Mount Without Wedding Photographer

I first met Natalie and Jack at a wedding fair where they won the chance to have an engagement photoshoot with me. We got on so well during the engagement photoshoot in Bristol city centre along the Harbourside and down to the Arnolfini and then the M Shed. Natalie and Jack opted for my photo and video package with Frankie from FJB Visuals for their wedding day.
On the 25th May, the big day Frankie and I met the couple at the Bristol wedding venue, The Mount Without. It is located near the Royal Infirmary hospital up on St Michael’s Hill. What an absolutely incredible and alternative Bristol wedding venue this is! Frankie, the videographer and I were amazed when we walked into the ceremony space. This breathtaking abandoned church has been turned into the most iconic and unique wedding venues I have ever seen!
Natalie and Jack said their ‘I Dos’ in front of their closest friends, family and their baby daughter at the bottom of the stairs covered in flowers and candles. Natalie looked stunning and Jack’s face when she walked in was just pure joy and happiness. Finally their family was joining and they were able to enjoy this special celebration.
After the ceremony led by their siblings it was time for mingling and group photos. Luckily the weather was nice so we managed to get some group shots outside. The wedding breakfast was prepared and served back in the main church.
For Natalie and Jack’s couple portrait session, with a beer in hand we wondered down St Michael’s hill to the Christmas steps and back up past the 808 cafe up to get some nice photos inside the church. The setting for photos is spectacular, the backdrop in every image just looks so dramatic. Once the photos were done it was time for the party down in the crypt where the “The Williams” neon sign shone and lit up the dance floor.
It was such a privilege getting to know Natalie and Jack over the years as their Mount Without wedding photographer. I enjoyed spending every second with them on their engagement photoshoot along the harbours and during their wedding celebration.
