Bristol Registry Office Wedding Photographer
Sophie & Russ 29th June 2025
The Bristol Registry Office is up there with one of my favourite wedding venues to photograph. The photographic opportunity in the surrounding area is limitless. You have Castle Park for the nature inspired backdrops, St Nicholas Market for the busy Bristol city vibe, Corn street which is littered in painted white flowers on the floor. If you are keen to you can walk over to the Christmas Steps, along to the Arnolfini and the Watershed at the Harbourside. Then go over Prince Street bridge to the M Shed and Wapping Wharf. Honestly there are absolutely endless chances to get some unique and quirky wedding photos.
Russ and Sophie booked me quite last minute. They decided to have a Bristol registry office wedding before their larger celebration later in the Summer. They were surrounded by their closest loved ones and read their vows to one another in the Lantern Rooms upstairs in the Bristol Registry Office. The theme was ‘colour’, they had the slow falling paper confetti from Flutter Darlings. Once we had done some group photos we went for a nice walk around the area. Stopping at the flowers on the floor, the famous graffiti arch near the registry office on Corn Street and then onto their party at The Cosy Club. Sophie and Russ had only booked me for a few hours so I left after they cut the most epic wedding cake I have ever seen in my life by Anna Cake Couture in Bristol.
