Bristol Wedding Photographer

Hey, I’m Freya. Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you for taking the time to look through my website, I am so glad you are here! I’m a wedding photographer covering Bristol, Bath, Somerset and the South West. I live with my lovely boyfriend Jack, our growing baby bump and our two gorgeous dogs Millie and Skye. We currently live on a canal boat on the Kennet & Avon canal. We have been living the nomadic lifestyle for the past two years since we converted our Ford Transit van Timmy and travelled around Scotland and Wales in 2022.

I’m bubbly, energetic, upbeat and I don’t take life too seriously. I’m absolutely in love with shooting weddings, it’s truly my passion! Every couple and every wedding is different and has its own magic. I get crazy excited when I take a photo that I am super proud of, a photo that captures a timeless memory and that doesn’t feel like a photoshoot

My two biggest past times are cheese and hummus! I LOVE THEM… YUM YUM YUM!

I’m a wedding photographer based in Bristol

"Freya was amazing to work with, she helped us to feel so relaxed! She  made us laugh and we felt like we were the only ones there which made our photoshoot feel so natural"

What kind of photographer am I?

I would class myself as a documentary style photographer. This basically means that you will barely notice that I am there. I spend the day capturing candid real moments, the ones of your best mates doing shots at the bar with Uncle Jim or your Mum crying as you walk down the aisle. The only time you will notice me is when I am taking your group photos. Read my approach to group photos here. When it comes to couple portraits we will just go on a relaxing stroll away from your guests and simply just have a laugh together. No akward posing, I promise! Read my approach to couple portraits here. I promise won’t make you do a Wallace and Grommit or Chandler Bing style smile.

What will happen before we book?

We will have a call so we can get to know each other or maybe even an engagement photoshoot so you can get used to being in front of the camera and then I am not stranger and you will feel more comfortable. Why do an engagement shoot?

Where did it all begin?

Coming from a family of photographers, I have always had a creative eye and thrive to capture natural, colourful, and emotional moments. Aside from weddings I also have a huge passion for the natural world and I spend most of my spare time walking with Millie and Skye (the dogs) trying to photograph them or wildlife. As someone who spends most of their time in the countryside, I love a good barn, farm or outdoor wedding! If I ever get married, I want to get married in the woods surrounded by nature, then have the reception with our wellies on in a tipi in a muddy field and find myself crashed out in a tent, with my new hubby and a raging hangover the next morning.

Anyway enough about me, I want to hear your story! How did you two meet? Where are you from? What music do you listen too? What are your thoughts and ideas for a fun, colourful, quirky wedding? How do you feel about cheese and/or hummus?
