Gothic themed wedding

Hilton Puckrup Hotel is located in Tewkesbury offering an idyllic and peaceful setting to host your wedding. The venue offers 200 acres of grounds, perfect for taking your photographs. The hotel boasts a large white building, with Manor House vibes. For the ceremony and reception the venue offers it’s ballrooms which can be decorated to suit your theme.

I was so happy to be asked to be Pearl and Josh’s wedding photographer for their Gothic themed wedding which was held at Hilton Puckrup Hotel on the 28th October 2022. Pearl wore a gorgeous laced puffed dress with a beautiful veil with a lace pattern on the bottom. Josh and his groomsmen wore suits that resembled the band My Chemical Romance.

Violet, their baby walked (or should I say carried because she was nervous, bless her) down the aisle ahead of mummy who walked down the aisle to ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’ by My Chemical Romance as her wedding entrance song. Violet was in the cutest little red flower girl dress that matched Daddy’s tie and the red and black gothic theme.

Hilton Puckrup hotel allows their bride and grooms to decorate however they like. Pearl and Josh’s gothic theme included the most spectacular décor. Pearl had black skulls in her bouquet, they had a guest book that said inside a coffin “Till Death Do Us Part”. They also had a skeleton bride and groom and the most awesome table plan. Pearl and Josh opted for some smoke bombs during their couple portrait session around the gardens at Hilton Puckrup hotel. They went for black, orange, and red which posed for the most awesome pop of colour to match their red and black gothic theme.

The table décor was amazing! They had stunning red and pink rose filled table centre pieces and pumpkins as table numbers and black chair covers topped with a red bow. The centre piece behind the gothic bride and groom was a big plant display that had “Two Souls Entwined” written on it. Later in the evening they cut their dramatic black cake and had their first dance.

I thought this celebration at Hilton Puckrup hotel was epic! It was such a different experience to any I have ever photographed; I would love to photograph another gothic celebration, I loved it!
