Rhiannon and Jordan’s Rock and Roll party

Rhiannon and Jordan met me at a fair and shortly after we bumped into each other at a Black Pumas gig in Bristol they asked me to be their Matara Centre wedding photographer. I was so excited because I really got on with Rhiannon and Jordan after we did an engagement shoot which they won from the fair.

Rhiannon and Jordan’s celebration was very much an extension of their personalities. The venue setting was perfect for their bold characters and let me tell you being so gorgeous, they rocked this venue and made the day sparkle with cool vibes.

The Matara Centre is a unique Cotswolds wedding venue. The Asian inspired venue has intricate and bold features every corner you turn. From a big metal giraffe, beautiful gardens, and a maze type feature in the field. Matara has the most beautiful grounds to walk around and use for your photographs on the day. They also plant a tree for every couple that gets married there which I think is awesome!

Rhiannon and Jordan exchanged vows at the Matara Centre under the cloistered courtyard by a pond filled with Koi carp surrounded by all their loved ones. Lemmy and Peanut, Rhiannon and Jordan’s dogs joined for the day and took the rings down the aisle to meet Mum and Dad at the end.

After the confetti and being announced as the new Mr and Mrs they walked down an aisle of confetti being thrown at them which made for lovely pictures and went onto celebrate with some drinks. While their guests explored the house and gardens, I got their friends and family together for some group shots then whisked the couple away for some portraits. Later on, after the meal the evening celebrations started and the band started to play. Rhiannon is a pole dancer so she told me that her bridesmaids could cut some great shapes on the dancefloor which was very true!

“Everyone has said the pictures are amazing and we wholeheartedly agree, thank you for all your hard work”- Rhiannon and Jordan

This event was such a pleasure to be a part of and I was so thrilled that I was asked to be Rhiannon and Jordan’s Matara Centre wedding photographer. If you are getting married at this venue and would like to discuss your photography please do get in touch, I would love to hear your plans!
