Lauren and Max’s rainy-day wedding

I was so thrilled to be asked to be Lauren and Max’s Widbrook Grange Wedding Photographer. What a stunning Wiltshire venue it is. From the eye of a wedding photographer the rustic farmhouse walls and romantic gardens were a dream. What a perfect and idyllic place to get married.

Photographing weddings at Widbrook Grange

There are plenty of spots to capture your special day at Widbrook Grange. Get some lovely shots of your guests enjoying garden games. The farmhouse makes the perfect backdrop for group shots. Within the farmhouse there is a moody, rustic vibe going on. This boasts for some nice intimate and dark couple photographs. There is a cool, quirky looking bar for you to pose with cocktails and your guests. The bright light coming in through the windows in the dining area looks really nice in pictures during the speeches and chill out periods.

Lauren and Max’s wedding at Widbrook Grange

Lauren and Max got married at Widbrook Grange on the 31st March 2023. Lauren got ready with her bridesmaid at her Mum and Dad’s house. This is where Frankie, my fellow videographer met Lauren on the day to get some beautiful getting ready shots. As the bride arrived unfortunately it was raining so she had to be rushed to the rustic farmhouse via an umbrella where she met Max at the end of the aisle. After a beautiful and emotional ceremony Lauren and Max were not going to let the rain stop them from getting their confetti shot. Therefore, we lined the guests up under umbrellas and just went for it. This was one of my favourite photographs from the day!

The rest of the day was filled with guests mingling and catching up with drinks in hand. Followed by a beautiful buffet style meal, and some fantastic speeches. Lauren’s Dad had the help from a mime which was hilarious. Once we had got some windy, wet rainy couple and group portraits the party commenced with a live band in the converted barn.

It was such an honour to be Lauren and Max’s Widbrook Grange Wedding Photographer. I will be sure to add this spectacular venue to my list of favourites and hope to shoot here again soon! If you like what you see and are interested in discussing your wedding photography with me, please fill out this form and I will be in touch as soon as possible.
